JACK BAUER – I grew up in the Midwest and after obtaining my BSEE at Iowa State and my MBA degree at Northwestern, I moved to California. I have lived on the Palos Verdes Peninsula for 35 years. I worked at Northrop Grumman before retiring. While cycling around the Peninsula, I was taken by the quiet and beauty of the South Coast and decided to retire here. The PVBC is a little piece of paradise that we need to protect and nurture.
FRANK SIKON - As board members our charge is to steer Palos Verdes Bay Club toward a sustainable future through sound financial management and ethical policies. I believe committees are the place where the community comes together to share valuable knowledge and a generosity of spirit. My wife and I consider our home at the Bay Club, living on the cove and this magnificent coastline a great privilege and blessing.
ANN HIATT - I am basically an easterner: Grew up in Philadelphia, lived in Virginia and then upstate New York before moving to Palos Verdes in 2005. Attended University of Illinois for undergraduate and George Washington University for graduate school. In later years, I studied landscaping at the Community College of the Finger Lakes. I am honored to be on the Board of the PV Bay Club and hope that the members of the Board can work together to accomplish all of our numerous goals. I love to travel and hope that the world will be open to me once again. Traveling with my grandchildren is the joy of my life.
STEVE MACHARDY (Director-at-Large) - I have been an owner/resident in the Palos Verdes Bay Club since March 2003 and elected Board Member since January 2014. It's the residents that make this place so special.
MARK ARTUSIO (Secretary) - My family moved to Palos Verdes when I was four years old and I lived here until I left for college. I spent my adult life realizing the Abalone Cove area has the finest views and best outdoor atmosphere in all of Los Angeles County. I was so happy to get back to paradise when I moved into the Bay Club, in 2017.
PAUL MERICLE (Director-at-Large)After graduating from UCLA in 1987, I founded Altamira Construction in 1990 and ran a successful General Contracting business for the next twenty four years. I am currently employed as a Building Inspector by the City of Redondo Beach. My family moved to Palos Verdes in 1965. It is a wonderful location and I am truly blessed to be able to call this place my home.
